I know this has nothing to do with oddities, but I trust your judgement.
For English I am allowed to choose one of the following books to read, mind you, have only two weeks to read it and do a project on it. Which should I choose?
- Tom Sawyer
- Moby Dick
- Grapes of Wrath
- East of Eden
- The Jungle
- Water for Elephants
- Huckleberry Finn
Which do you all suggest? KEEP IN MIND! It’s going to take MUCH longer than two weeks to read some of these novels. Time is of the essence.

Water for Elephants will mostly likely be the most enjoyable, and it’s a pretty quick read.

I’d pick Tom Sawyer, it took me at least a day or two to read, and it’s a fun read.

Tom Sawyer is short and not bad.

The Jungle. If you had, like a month, I’d choose Moby Dick, but The Jungle is also awesome.

Speaking from my own experience, don’t read Grapes of Wrath. It is so dull… or, it was for me.

Although I adore “Moby Dick,” since time is of the essence, I think the Mark Twain books might best suit your needs.

Choose something by Mark Twain. He’s amazing and it’ll probably be an easyish read.
